~ aka Wellbeing Wednesday
Hi everyone, my name is Stuart Simler and I'm one of the founders of Raw Ground Arts. My wife and I set up RGA to provide arts to the world around us, as an education tool, for community projects and to aid businesses in building their company culture and support employee wellbeing. Having spent the past three years working in a management role in the creative sector… a decision largely informed by the impact the covid pandemic had on our business and the need for security during a time where we were also trying to buy our first house. My experience of working in this environment combined with a world that was still coming to terms with C-19, presented me with some moments of reflection, insight, crazy laughter, intuitive learning and when to acknowledge serendipity. These aspects guided me to a point where I needed to look inwards and recognise my inner voice, a voice that speaks openly and allows me to use this space to reflect on the importance of observing wellness. Here I will be sharing insights, light-bulb moments and observations from daily life as an offering to readers that might add a flavour of creativity from a personal perspective and contribute towards a greater sense of wellbeing.
I’m not sure if the format each time will always be the same - I was a fan of 800 words (the Aussie TV series) but I don’t think it’s for me. I anticipate moments of shared reflection relating to wellness, either experienced, offered or as structured ways to set about feeling well. Maybe even the occasional epiphany!
What ever the shape or form these arrive in, they will be from my own personal and creative space. A concept piece waiting to be realised.
Blog Posts will be released every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from this website page and shared via, Insta, Twitter and LinkedIn. Please feel free to visit and share, I’ll be here with regular updates, so, see you soon. This is an introduction to my first release this coming Wednesday on the 6th September. Keep 'em peeled as the late, great Shaw Taylor used to say!
